Easton High School Students Recognized in NASA Hunch Video Challenge

Oliver Ames High School and the Oliver Ames High School Media Production Department are excited to share that six Easton students have received recognition for their video submissions for the NASA Hunch Video Challenge

The student video challenge, sponsored by NASA Hunch and the Association for Career and Technical Education, prompted students to create a short video to address the question, “Why Go to the Moon?”

Two videos were submitted and were both ranked in the top 14 of 62 total submissions from around the country, earning honorable mentions. A video produced by juniors Sophia DiBona and Jessica Bradley and senior Andrey DeSouza-Lopes discussed moon exploration as the precursor to sending astronauts to Mars in the future, and the second video, produced by juniors Piper Cushing, Bailey Franzoni and Jamie Finn, made the connection between moon exploration and innovations of new technologies.

Winning submissions can be found here. Congrats to our students!
