EASTON — Superintendent Lisha Cabral and Principal Luke Carroll are pleased to welcome Stephanie Santos as Easton Middle School’s newest assistant principal.

Assistant Principal Santos will officially begin her new role on Monday, Feb. 28, replacing long-time assistant principal Michael Ciliberto.

“Stephanie’s ability to connect with students, staff and families makes her a perfect fit for this position,” said Superintendent Cabral. “We’re thrilled that she will be joining the Easton Middle School, and look forward to the insight and experiences she will bring to this role. I ask that you all join me in warmly welcoming her to our community”

Santos begins her new role with the Easton Public Schools following more than 11 years with Wareham Public Schools. She began her teaching career at Wareham High School in 2010 as an English teacher. While working for Wareham Public Schools, Santos taught a variety of English classes and was the advisor to the Class of 2014 and Class of 2018. She also served as the Dean of Students for Wareham High School from August 2018 through June 2020.

While at Wareham High School, Santos developed the Successful, Adaptable, Innovative Learning (SAIL) program. The SAIL program is an after-school and summer program that offers students time to do homework and also take hands-on, project-based enrichment courses while earning elective credits or recovering lost credits.

“I’m overjoyed to have this opportunity to serve as assistant principal of Easton Middle School,” said Santos. “I am excited to visit classrooms and talk to students and staff about their work so I can best support them in my new position.”

Santos holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Bridgewater State University, a master’s in education and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Leadership from American International College. Santos is also fluent in Portuguese.

“Stephanie comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and administration experience,” said Principal Carroll. “We anticipate her transition to Easton Middle School will be seamless and her arrival will have a positive impact on our students, families and staff.”
